CABINET DELIVERY
To prepare your home for cabinetry delivery, start by clearing the installation area of all items, ensuring it’s clean and free of debris. Measure doorways, hallways, and stairs to confirm the cabinets can fit through, and remove any obstacles that might hinder delivery. Protect floors and nearby surfaces with coverings to prevent damage. Maintain a stable indoor temperature and humidity level to prevent warping or damage to the cabinetry. Finally, coordinate and confirm the delivery date with your supplier, ensuring someone is available to oversee the process.
Getting ready for your cabinetry delivery:
PREPARING YOUR HOME:
- The space needs to be temperature controlled, dry, covered and secure.
- Boxed cabinets will take up more space than you may think. Consider the number of cabinets you ordered, plus trim, moldings and other accessories.
- Ideally you should choose a location where boxes will not need to be stacked and where they won’t need to be moved until installation.
Don’t forget about storage space for other items such as flooring, sinks, and appliances. You or you installer will want to be able to find and easily access all materials when the time is right
